Nytingale, nope, the anxiety never really goes away. Heck, I'm going to labcorp this morning for my annual complete panel (glucose, cholesterol, all the other stuff), and I'm a little anxious--have my dietary changes had any positive result except for having lost about 15 lbs?
A glass of wine helps. So do walks, meaningless books, playing with a small child or a dog, attending the worship service of your choice, doing the dishes or scrubbing the bathroom.
