sometimes I think I've been here too long.

am I past my expiration date?

Congrats on helping out so many guys over the years. (Not to mention providing both humor and poetry.) As to when you've overstayed your welcome, I don't think it happens until your post count exceeds the Dow Jones Industrial Average, so you've got some time. (Unless I just jinxed the stock market.)

As for doughnuts, they help pretty much everything...

Another doughnut always helps. What is your go-to doughnut (or is it donut)? Mine is Vanilla bavarian cream-filled. Or sour cream cake. Or Jelly. Or....heck, one of each!

Not a true donut, but Varsity Donut in Manhatten, KS has a long john with Maple frosting and bacon.

@Alphanull - We have a place that does the same maple and bacon. I found it too sweet. Hard to mess up bacon, but I think they did.
@Halbert - Did you have a favorite place when you were located around STL like me? Always looking for a good donut place. Vanilla longjohns are my weakness.

feeling old today. You're not officially old until 60. (I'm also 59)
