who is the best prostatectomy surgeon who uses the da vinci robotic in the new Orleans area. looking to find surgeon who has done many procedures and has a great reputation. thanks

I’m not sure this will be much help to you but I had my robotic prostatectomy at Ochsner Hospital in 2008 by Dr Richard Vanlangendonck. I lived in Baton Rouge and they didn’t even do robotic at that time. There was only 2 surgeons at Ochsner and one at Tulane, I believe his name was Dr Raj or something close to that. I wish I had more up to date info...

Since you have decided on surgery go with one who has performed thousands. If that means outside of New Orleans, go.
