Dr. Kersh @ Riverside is absolutely phenomenal. Out of every doctor we've encountered he is by far the most compassionate, and he's a brilliant RO.

I had my RT from Dr. Mark Chisam, who is part of the Riverside system. I got my treatment in Williamsburg, which might be too far, depending on where you live. I think it's hard to tell how competent a doctor is; but I can say that two years after completing RT my PSA is still undetectable. He is very good at communication. He was very straightforward with me and took time to explain everything, both beforehand and during treatment.

Chisam and Kersh are partners, Kersh practices in Newport News and Chisam in Williamsburg. My husband had his ART with Chisam, but we saw Kersh before surgery, and again before going ahead with ART. Chisam is very no-nonsense and an excellent doctor, Kersh is an academic willing to have an hour long back and forth informed by treating over 10,000 PCA patients and the details of a decipher report. Both are excellent, as are all of their technicians.
