If you are reading this, FWIW I did some searching and found out there are these things available now called "speech-to- text" apps (also called "dictation software").
As the name implies, they take speech directed at the computer and type it automatically on to the screen.
Here's an article that discusses some of these apps on the market right now and their availability:
https://www.thesmbguide.com/voice-recognition-software It also lists their prices, which seem reasonable, and some are even listed as free. From the article:
"Voice recognition software varies in price depending on what your needs are. You can either get basic voice recognition software free or purchase premium software ranging from $4.99 to $80.00 for a software license."How hard are they to install? I don't know, but I'm hoping some of our resident computer experts here, some of whom may even have real-life experience with such things, may weigh in now and discuss the possibilities that something like this may be of help to you.
That is, assuming you are even interested in something like this. But it does seem like something that might be of help to you, not only for making it easier for you to communicate with us here, but for computer use in general.
