M T level last time was.10 now it's .01 not the direction I was looking for....
Last ADT was 8/28...

Yeah, that's the wrong direction. That just sucks.

Hopefully it turns around.

MG, IF I read your signature correctly your last HT shot was a 6 month shot in August 2019. That means your treatment is just now ending. You need to give it time. 1 year of HT means it could take a year or more for T to return to normal levels, if you are typical

Also watch for the lab "units"... Some labs like mine report as ng/ml (milliliters)... others the more standard ng/dl (deciliters)

Example... my typical low base testosterone is reported as 0.8 ng/ml with my lab with 1.8-7.8 being normal...

This would be 80 ng/dl in the usual reporting method with 180-780 being normal.

Just another thing to keep us on our toes...

In a perfect world your last six-month shot is due to wear off next Thursday (8/28/19 + six months = 2/28/20) but in the real world the effects should start to wear off some months from now. Unfortunately, recovery is often slow, varies from man to man, and isn't guaranteed to happen at all. The rule of thumb is that the amount of time you need to recover ... back to normal, whatever that means ... is half the time you were treated with ADT. In your case, half of 18 months is 9 months from now (so, say, Thanksgiving time, more or less). You are going to have to be patient for a while.

I'm aware of the time to recover from the ADT, I just didn't like it going the wrong way....

MG, you aren't alone, not that it should make you feel better. I'm a year out after 6 months of ADT, and last test was still low at 150. that was a few months ago and if i tested now, i suspect i might be lower, because the hot flashes that had disappeared, seem to be back, albeit in a mild form.

Patience (and hope) is everything.

Your "T" recovery time can vary depending on the individual as has been stated. Be patient, be active and good things will happen in time.
My last 3 month Lupron shot was 12/18. My "T" number dropped down to 12. It is now 346 as of yesterday. This was my "T"number 3 years ago. PSA=.05.

My strength and endurance has returned after a brutal 18-19 winter. My wife and I have just booked all of our Tour Du Mont Blanc hiking trip this August as well as 2 long cycle touring trips in Europe.

Off tomorrow for 2 world Loppets(Gatineau and American Birkebeiner) back east after missing out last winter.

I really can't stress it enough in the fact that vigorous exercise has helped me cope physically with an intermediate- unfavorable diagnosis almost 7 years ago.

MG...I only had 1 - 6 mo. shot.....then IGRT -45 fractions...81Gys......took 7-8 months to start climbing after finished with rads ...now at around 600-- 3 year years later....good luck hang in ....Peace
