BB, FYI below is test information copied from the site.

Test Code: 140731
Also Known As: PSA Third Generation
Methodology: Electrochemiluminescence immunoassay (ECLIA)
Preparation: No fasting required. Stop biotin consumption at least 72 hours prior to the collection. PSA sampling should not be performed for at least six weeks after prostatic biopsy.
Test Results: 3-4 days. May take longer based on weather, holiday or lab delays.

Here is a summary of my test page results;
Ultrasensitive <0.006ng/mL, (0.000 - 4.00001 REFERENCE INTERVAL) Roche ECLIA methodology.

Besides, for $109 maybe they offer more attractive phlebotomists. You generally get what you pay for in America.

Yep, that is exactly the one I am looking at, 140731, except the sample test report they show says: <.015. I'll have to call them, or just go get it and not worry about it.

(Do check: no lab will report a value as <.015. Did you mean <0.015. or perhaps <0.15 ? Decimal numbers less than 1 are always written a zero before the decimal point to avoid confusion.)

Do you have the url where you see this? If it's not the main site, they may have mixed up the reports. What is the test name/code on the sample report itself? It should say "PSA, Ultrasensitive W/O Serial"

The Labcorp.com site for Test 140731 has two sample reports, both with 3-decimal results: 2.001 and 75.001. (All ten of my uPSA results have come back with 3 decimals.)

Yes, I forgot the "0" to the left of the decimal. it is <0.015. Here is the page, then click on "sample test report".

I *may* have an explanation. The Labcorp sample report at you link resides at walkinlab's site, and the copyright date at the bottom is 2015. The sample reports I linked above are at Labcorp's site and the copyright is 2019. My guess is that they never updated their sample report when Labcorp revised their lower limit, since, as you correctly said, the test number for the 2015 report is the same.

Note that AFAIK, Labcorp never explicitly states anywhere that 0.006 is the test's lower limit (with a "nothing detected" reported as <0.006) -- it's just what we obviously deduce when seeing actual results with the < value. And I've never come across a Labcorp sample report with <0.006 as the result. By not expressly stating the lower limit of detection for their uPSA test, Labcorp can revise it without changing their documentation.

decrease and remain at undetectable levels after radical
prostatectomy. The AUA defines biochemical recurrence as an initial
PSA value 0.200 ng/mL or greater followed by a subsequent
confirmatory PSA value 0.200 ng/mL or greater.
Values obtained with different assay methods or kits cannot be used
interchangeably. Results cannot be interpreted as absolute evidence
of the presence or absence of malignant disease.

My surgeon (still his patient) - has always stated that LabCorp is "the best" even though the medical center I go to has a great lab.

I've been steady as far as going - always in line at 6am - usually out by 6.20am. Busy place and they have 4 collection centers within 10 miles of me

SRT comes with a necessary decision about a whole-pelvis vs. fossa-only irradiation field. Here too, a scan and genomics may be of help. BIllyBob's sig doesn't have the number of (negative) lymph nodes removed at RP.

Sorry, Djin, didn't see this. Had to go look it up. Though it may not matter at this point, if the PSA is rising, but it was 9 removed, 9 negative.

Edit: there is some technicality(or just craziness) about that path report the makes it very hard to read. In one place, 3 nodes are specified, another 9, another place says "12 lymph nodes examined". So who knows?
