So, this year we've gotten off to a bit of a rocky start. At the beginning of the month, we had a great report as hubby's PSA is still non-detectable. Last weekend we lost my brother to stage IV colon cancer with liver mets. This week, hubby is passing some rusty blood in his urine and a small clot this morning - this is new. Wondering if it is related to his ART last May or possibly to his Bicalutamide (apparently that can be a side effect of the drug). No history of kidney stones and no other symptoms. We are freaking out just a bit, worried that the cancer is rearing it's head again (positive bladder margin) - although that seems odd in the face of a non-detectable PSA a couple of weeks ago. Have a message out to the MO - I see a visit very soon. Anyone else experience anything like this?
