Hello NEPOL,
My oncologist is very compassionate, and proactive ---
He has me do lab draws each month, to stay on top of everything.
Everything has stayed on track for me, thankfully.
Something I do, and this idea may help others ---
I do labs a couple of days BEFORE I see my oncologist.
This way, ALL lab results have been processed and received by him, and he has had time to assess and reflect before I arrive a couple days later.
My lab even has Saturday morning hours, which is helpful if it's been a busy work week.
This simple step helps me, doing labs a couple days in advance, resulting in a far more INFORMED and meaningful consultation with my oncologist.
