On a somewhat lighter note...how many rolls of toilet paper do you now have in stock?

12, and I am on the same roll for about a week.

I don't know the exact number, but it's definitely less than 10. We've been getting groceries through delivery, but you can't get TP that way, so I expect I'll be venturing out soon.

Not because I’m hoarding. Because I was down to 12 rolls, and I ordered from a online company that sells hotels as well as retail, they require you to buy by the case. I thought I only ordered one case but apparently I ordered two cases 36 rolls to the case and that’s what I got

I have about 10 but I have a lot of CVS receipts as my back up plan!

Some people might need more because, as we all know, some people are more full of it than others.

No idea, but enough that I'm not concerned. Didn't hoard any when this stuff started hitting the fan. Just always stay prepared. There are a few things you don't want to ever run out of if there is an interruption of the supply chain. Coffee, propane, TP, canned goods, bottled water, booze, bacon, etc.

There was a photo of a food shelf here where every bag of food was topped off with a roll of toilet paper. Seemed like a good idea to me as there are no TP shelf’s as far as I know.

We had a local restaurant running a takeout special - one roll of tp with every order.

I hope that's not a commentary on the effect of their cuisine.

We cut our TP usage in half by installing toilet seat bidet attachments. Wish we'd done it years ago, it's so much cleaner, less wasteful, easier on the plumbing (the house's as well as my own).

Ten rolls in house and a case of 48 in the storage locker. I routinely order a case from Amazon and one was delivered just before this mayhem started. We even gave a 12-pack to a needy neighbor (I felt that handing out individual rolls just isn't right).

Like Rich, I bought a toilet seat bidet last year after that bowel surgery in late 2018... It's great for the raw bottom when a flare hits, but for normal movements I stick with traditional TP followed by wet wipes, which we dispose of in small zip lock baggies... which we've done since they had to clean out the sewer system in front of our place.

We use both sides, so we're good.

I'm suddenly remembering my great-grandparents ---- chuckling ---and then telling me how there were always old SEARS & ROEBUCK catalogs, full of pages ---- faithfully kept inside the backyard outhouse, over a century ago.

I think we --- as very young grandkids --- all looked at each other in utter disbelief!

This was then followed by stories of "walking for miles, across the frozen Midwestern prairie in blizzards" just to get to the schoolhouse, when they were kids, of course!

SEARS & ROEBUCK catalogs?!!! Yep, it was true, back in their day!
