I thought I would pop in and say hello. I am tired of this pandemic crap. Fortunately I am deemed essential by comrade Insley. It is my opinion that I am expendable and that the government chooses to use a more politically correct word. I think they should just use canon fodder. Well enough about that.

I had my four month oncology visit yesterday. No examination. I walked in answered the questions had my vitals checked and my blood drawn. From start to finish the entire appointment took less than an hour. That includes getting a Lupron shot.
I got all my blood work back last night and everything was as it should be with another undetectable PSA. It will be 14 years since my diagnosis in another 32 days. I still find it hard to believe that I’m here. In someways I’m really happy about that and then in other ways I am not so sure. I think we should all do ourselves a great big favor and throw our televisions and our computers and our smart phones out the window and never pick them up again

Sometimes I feel that way too. Looking back, in many ways, I think we did alright without all that stuff.

It seems like big experiment, which could - Maybe - lead to a downfall.

When the government has public service commercials on TV encourageing kids to go out play for an hour each day - you know there's a problem. 😀

Good news my brother. You know you are essential to this site! I am feeling the same way you do, but see this pandemic as an avenue to retire early, and really take a step back and see the more important things in life.
You are far from being a simple man, you are about the most complex and biggest success that I have ever met. But I could not help but thinking immediately about this simple song about a simple man that seems to fit these times. To borrow that phrase, hope y'all like it too!!

Great news! You continue to spread hope for so many of us here. Hubby is ready to begin Provenge. We are hopeful that he will have as good a response as you've had. Keep scoring those zeros!

Always great to hear from you,Todd, and especially to hear that the numbers remain good.

Your story has always been like a solid rock among shifting sand. That others can look to for inspiration and draw hope from it. ("He got better, I can get better").

Sort of like this forum, a place one can come to for help and inspiration when it seems like the rest of the world is going crazy.
