I have not posted here in a long time because my pw never worked.
My husbands ct scan came back today and it is worse.
He has stage 4 pc gleason 9.
We just found out the lupron has failed.
Hi,
There are some lymph nodes in right arm pit and middle part of the chest. There is fluid in left lung leading to collapse of few lobes in left lung. There are small 1 cm size nodules in both lungs. It's time to start new treatments for sure.
Sincerely,
NARESH A PATEL MD
Impression
Lung, mediastinal and right acetabular metastases as detailed below.
Large left pleural effusion, can consider therapeutic thoracentesis.
Moderate left hydronephrosis with left ureteral stent in place.
Cholelithiasis.

Hello,
Upon diagnosis, I also had mets in both of my lungs, from metastatic prostate cancer.
I have been on continuous ADT shots, ever since, starting with LUPRON, then FIRMAGON, and now ZOLADEX.
Upon diagnosis, my doctors recommended an aggressive and proactive treatment plan.
I pursued a series of chemotherapy treatments (six infusions of TAXOTERE, given once every three weeks). This helped attack my cancer in a new way.
After that, I was placed on the new breakthrough medication called ZYTIGA. Other comrades here are on XTANDI.
I have been on ZYTIGA for nearly four years.
A year ago, I went through a series of radiation treatments.
All of these treatments have worked together, over time, and are listed below my signature at the bottom of this post in my health history.
Make certain you consult with an expert oncologist --- and listen to their advice in terms of medications and treatments that could be implemented in your case.
Keep in touch with us here --- we're here to encourage and support!
With my best,

Cyclone-ISU,
Steve starts Zytiga with pred this week.
He had a bone scan yesterday and will have the fluid in his lung tested for Cancer this week.
Do you have any side effects from Zytiga?

I too had nodules in both lungs and doctor said stage 4... Been on treatment (see below). since May.. Only side effects are cold sweats. There are some on here that have encouraged me that after a few months a CT scan showed the nodules dried up... I am praying for the same.
