Happy Birthday Bobby Mac! It's good to see activity around the barn again.
You are not alone. I am in the same corral... Finished HT in 2018 and turn 70 this week. Testosterone is still only in double digits, have little energy and zero enthusiasm. But PSA remains undetectable. Urologist advises against supplementation, and I understand why. I'd rather continue to live with the hot flashes than mess with something that's potentially deadly.
Hoping you have a great day today! 74 years young!
If you're up for it, low dose estrogen was used by Dr. Charles "Snuffy" Meyers for his patients on long term testosterone suppression therapy. 0.025 to 0.05mg/day transdermal patches. It stops hot flashes, and helps protect bone density.
Just a thought, something to possibly consider and discuss with your support team.I am on the lose dose patches. They don’t “end” the hot flashes, but they are less frequent and severe.
You can add me to the T3 club.
