Djin,
At diagnosis I was G6 with 3 positive cores, I think with 2 positive in the right middle, and one in the right lower, so the 4 quadrants at G7 was significant (to me at least), to suggest I was multifocal, and an upgrade besides. I've always thought that while I was eligible for AS at diagnosis, I likely would not have stayed AS for long--a follow up MRI guided biopsy would have most likely come back as G7.
I agree totally! The AS vs. treatment decision is different kettle of fish. The final tumor
location and Gleason upgrade certainly confirmed that! One thing we G9-G10 biopsy guys don't have to worry about
is the "Should I do AS?" question
