Quest Labs Question?

I had prostate surgery and then radiation, G9 little over 5 years ago. Now PSA has started to rise and I am seeing Dr. Sartor at Tulane. He has ordered Quest to draw blood every month from Jan to Apr... had first one at Gulfport, MS and they sent my blood to Houston for lab results.

Question is, my work has me in Atlanta, GA for ?, Can Quest draw my blood here in Atlanta and then send the blood to their Houston lab for results? anybody have similar issues before? I will try to call local Quest tomorrow to look into this request.

I have had blood drawn at the same time by 2 different labs with 2 different labs and had different results at both (way different results). Dr. Sartor is trying to use one lab and establish doubling time and to see when PSA gets to the point where new PSMA scan can be used to look for the tumor and zap it. He and I are trying to stay away from ADT.

Gonna make sure blood goes to Houston even if I have to drive all night and day to do so. Only had one visit with Dr. Sartor, but I am very impressed by him and his whole staff at Tulane.
