All,
I started to title this one with apologies to R.E.M. and Michael Stipe "This one goes out to the one I love" meaning to my wife, my family, my HW friends. "This one goes out to the ones I left behind" meaning Tom, Herbert, Chris, Cleoman and others that have passed from PC. Then I thought K.I.S.S. Keep it simple stupid.

So here goes, another visit to CTCA another complete blood test, another PSA of <0.014, undetectable. That makes seven years since I started Zytiga, and 6 years 9 months of confirmed remission. I do not know what I have done to deserve this good fortune when so many others have not fared as well. I just PTL!! A friend, Louis told me yesterday, we need to spread the news and stand as an encouragement to others.

I am more fortunate than most, but still see three side , the good, the bad and the ugly of PC, (not the western movie) lol It is what it is.

Still needing to learn to be grateful for each day, take nothing for granted and live with PC without letting it rule my life. I love this forum and ya'll and happy to share my good news.

Long have you been a loyal member here --- and an amigo and compadre of mine here --- with us being diagnosed about the same time --- fellow travelers on the same road ---- with common threads woven into our medical story and treatment "tapestry" ...

You're always a source of INSPIRATION here --- and you never fail to encourage "another brother" in times of need.

Great news that you have shared, on your recent lab results!

There's H*O*P*E for others in your update --- and you know how to keep that beacon lit!

Both of us keep those empty ZYTIGA bottles --- and those bottles lined up on my shelf are a daily reminder of what you alluded to in your post --- being mindful of others --- and maintaining that ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE, in the midst of it all.

Your post reminds me of lyrics from Johnny Nash's 1972 hit ... "I CAN SEE CLEARLY NOW" ... that I heard on the radio the other day, driving across the countryside.

Give it a listen today ... and like the lyrics in the song, I am wishing you a "bright ... bright ... SUNSHINY day!"
