Hello, JCJAMES ----
I'm cheering, as I read your GREAT NEWS from your doctors.
Your post will encourage others, as new members join us here, for the first time.
When I was first diagnosed, that's what I needed most --- HOPE --- and a belief that the treatments my doctors were recommending could help me.
Your post shares that hope with others!
It sounds like ZYTIGA has continued to help you, over time. I have about 75 empty ZYTIGA bottles lined up on a shelf, as a way to mark my progress. I'm actually now on the newer generic version -- ABIRATERONE ACETATE --- but no matter the label, I will always call it ZYTIGA.
I remember the day my oncologist first started talking about it ... and then said, "You will be our first patient at the clinic here to try this new medication, if you are willing to do so."
I am thankful for your great test results, JCJAMES!
Thankful, also, to hear that you have BATTLED BACK from your recent attack of West Nile virus! How can a tiny mosquito pack that much of a wallop, I always wonder --- but I know they do, indeed ---- with such maladies as malaria and West Nile virus!
You, good sir, are --- INDEED --- a SURVIVOR! You need a t-shirt that declares that, I say!
The weekend is almost here --- time to celebrate the good news you shared with all of us --- mark the moment --- reflect on your milestones in survivorship --- and set your sights on the new day ahead!
Here's to those CELEBRATORY moments!
