ANB: I suggest there is a difference between eating a healthy diet once diagnosed--along with exercise, etc--to aid in the process of treatment. Absolutely.
I’ve been a vegetarian, mostly vegan, for over 40-years, primarily as a preventative against the family history of cardio disease, to which I added exercise (distance runner: marathons and such), meditation, and avoidance of vices. Guess what? Arteries are clear, low cholesterol, resting heart rate of 48, and have outlived most males on the family tree. I call my lifestyle a success for the cardio issue. BUT, I drew an unlucky card and I had prostate cancer. What the lifestyle did was make recovery from treatment a breeze.
