I have a story you might appreciate given where you used to work if I recall correctly…

Because of Covid I work a lot from home. As an IT guy for a large police department it can be a juggling act. One day I decided to make cookies. With just a minute left to bake, I had to take a phone call from a high ranking police officer. He began yelling at me that his computer wasn't working and wanted it fixed asap. I put him on hold when the oven started beeping loudly. I took the cookies out of the oven and had to push the timer several times for the beeps to stop. The cookies looked & smelled great, but I forgot all about the call. Returning to the phone, I could hear him yelling my last name and saying….”…. I don't know what the heck you did, but my computer works great now…keep up the good work.”.
