Howard - was your bleeding via your penis or was it blood in your urine?

I had blood in the urine a few years after surgery and got to do the camera trick too. Uro found that a staple that was part of attaching the urethra back to the bladder was being rejected by my body.... I won't tell you what it was like for him to try and YANK the staple out.... Ended up having to do day surgery,

Can’t believe I’m sharing this but why not? My husband woke up one morning to a solid stream of bright red blood. (This was about 20 years ago—way before his PCa.)

A friend who was a urologist got us in that morning and did the camera thing. My husband said it was the worst pain ever.

I probably don’t have the right words but eventually they found something that was pumping blood into the tube that carries the urine. This was near the scrotum. My husband had to have two procedures to cauterize it and stop the bleeding.

We still laugh about that appointment that morning. Our friend asked my husband if he had stuck anything up his penis. People do that?
