Interesting study shows treatment with NON SELECTIVE beta blockers after surgery can prevent recurrence.
A quick Google shows that NON SELECTIVE beta blockers are not the type that are commonly prescribed for heart disease, blood pressure control, etc.

I have used Atenolol, a selective beta blocker since 1995 and there has been zero progression of my low risk PCa over twelve years. My doctors at Johns Hopkins have been aware of this effect for decades.
The results appear quite different depending on whether you are low risk, or not.
