Great news.

Now it has to go through the process of reimbursement determination by Medicare. Assuming that is positive then other third party payors will usually follow suit. I hope they fast track the determination. It usually takes at least six months.

Post script: Despite being "retro" --- lots of students at my school are HOOKED on Bob Ross. He seems to be enjoying a resurgence in popularity, after all these years!?! Horizon line, acrylic paint, palette, mountains, pond, sky, a little cabin, and always some "happy little trees" ... finished "masterpiece" in 30 minutes flat, every time!

The approval applies to patients who have metastasized, castrate-resistant cancer previously treated with androgen receptor pathway inhibitors and taxane chemo.

That's a mouthful: I hope I got this right.
Of course, the cancer also has to express PSMA.

Thanks, Bill!!! I can tell you that after six treatments of LU-177, I could not have dreamed of better results. PSA from 65 to 1.87 and still dropping. I also heard from our Doc that I could likely do more treatments down the road a year or two if needed. This is great news!!!
