Life after Radical Prostatectomy

Carry around a sturdy throw pillow. When you feel a cough or sneeze coming, press the pillow to your lower abdomen to supress movement. I found the 1st bowel movement to be worse than the entire catheter experience. Hot tea and cold jello are good too.

RE Bowel movements, FWIW, after 3 or 4 days of stool softeners i too had nothing but air. I asked my wife to go out and get me some prune juice. One 8 ounce glass of that crap did the job in a big way. It was better than orgasm LOL. If you need to, try it, might work for you too.
