That's correct, the Modena booster now is half the dose the primary Modena shot was.

Struggling with two cancers, ulcerative colitis, and a lifetime autoimmune disease, Behcets syndrome., I think I'll be signing up for the second booster soon. My first booster, full strength, was in August, 2021.

I don't think I've had Covid, and my SARS-CovV-2 Semi-Quant IgG ab is 160.0 Au/mL

Prato- There's a good article in today's (4/1) Sun Sentinel regarding second boosters.. Bottom line- may help; won't hurt.

Steve n Dallas.....no I never paid for any covid shots and I was among the first to get the first two jabs. I also get my annual flu shots at Dallas VAMC. I still remain skeptical that this is all about Big Pharma cashing in on big Government contracts. I would not be surprised to see a 3rd booster rolled out this year.

I’m traveling to Italy in May and our leader is trying to sort out what we need and a booster within 90 days of travel might be required. I’ve had 3 shots so far and won’t have a problem getting another.

Vince - We are heading to Italy (Rome) in May also. My wife had her 4th shot recently, doctor’s orders, and I will probably get mine this month (Pfizer).

Italy has announced that May 1st is the magic day that most restrictions will be dropped. This seems to be another reason for us old folks to get another booster when heading into the Wild West once again. At least, that is my current thinking.

The pharmas make more money off of the monoclonal antibodies and other therapeutics for treating the sick. Those antibodies are $1000 to $3000 a dose with multiple doses required. Vax is $20/dose. The vax probably cuts into profits now.
