My Dad said he has been experiencing UI since having his cystoscopy and biopsy in January. He had his bladder neck scraped out as some PC from the prostate bed had started to creep up that way (see signature for history). The bladder was clean, there were just some cells in the bladder neck. He’s on blood thinner as well and said he still sees a twinge of blood every now and then. I know this is upsetting for him. Anyone else have anything similar?

In 2020 I had a bladder stone surgery, which didn't get the stone out but left me with UI. Last year I went to a different surgeon and he was able to remove the stone, but it left me with worse UI. And it has had a big impact on my life, as it has limited what I "want do to."

It looked like I could have a sling surgery, but now that the UI is worse, I am a candidate for AS surgery. However there is an apparent crevice in my bladder that leave me at risk for more bladder stones, and that rules our an AS.
After two years of this it has really impacted every area of my life. I am going to consult with a surgeon closer to Atlanta to get a second opinion, and after three surgery's last year, I will wait until late this year or early next year for surgery for UI.

I’m sorry you are going through this. My Dad is 75 now and is also looking at possibly getting a pacemaker due to low HR. It sure does seem like everything hits at once. His urologist is going take another look with cystoscopy in May so hoping and praying everything looks good. Best of luck to you. Thank you for sharing.

I was having problems with lack of flow so they did a turp on me. I had blood in the urine for about 4 weeks after the procedure and did no completely heal until 8 weeks. My down side is my gleason score was 3 +3=6 now it is 3+4=7. As you get older there will always been some thing else that comes up.
