PET/CT PSMA

I believe the PSMA PET Scan is the new gold standard I was fortunate to get it approved before I made any final decision o treatment. It showed the cancer was already outside the prostate capsule that was not definitive in other scans and thus surgery would not be a “one-and-done” solution for my situation so I opted out of RP and chose proton radiation. I think the PSMA will give you and the doc the best determination of where things are now. Best wishes!

I hate to write this, but your physician seems to be an optimist; I hope he is right.

He is what I would call optimistic, but also realistic. But, I think the reason he believes that is more related to my markers and how long they've been on the slow trajectory they're on. He told me he was also comparing my situation to 3 other recent patients who had similar markers and they were able to find the nodes and either take them out or radiate them.

MSSoft's one drive has excel and word available. You enter data in the spreadsheet and then add a chart/graph. You then have to share it. It provides a URL. Then I went to tinyurl and created an even shorter URL. Then I posted it here.

He may find it, he may target it, he may hit it, and while HE may be successful, YOU, I'm sorry to say, will never be completely "done with this".

That's totally true. Bad choice of words on my part. Even if he finds it, even if he destroys that node, and even if for some miraculous reason no other nodes ever pop up, the damage that has been done by surgery, radiation, bleeding bladder issues, and 14 catheter insertions in a month and a half, that have made me totally incontinent will never come to an end. My damage was done mostly after I started bleeding and had to undergo two bladder surgeries, over 14 catheter insertions in a month and a half, and 3 scopes. After that month and a half I was left totally incontinent.
