My first 2 series of biopsies each came back as Gleason 3-3.
4 weeks ago I have 12 more and today the doc said I was undetectable for cancer.
He still wants to monitor my PSA, but I seem to be in a pretty good place for now.
Is it ever normal for this to happen?

Tom,
Your doc's comment that you were undetectable for cancer is interesting. I have no reason to believe that it's not true, but I would still be wanting to see the biopsy results.
Sounds like you're doing well.

Hi Tom, It appears your Dr. has recommended Active Surveillance for your Gleason 6 and that is likely appropriate. It’s also common for biopsy’s to vary a little bit. It’s kind of like sticking a needle into a blueberry muffin. If their are not many blueberries the needles may not hit any of them. It does not mean the cancer went away only they didn’t hit any. That’s good news as Gleason 6 very rarely causes any significant issues and it appears you have very little G6. G6 often needs only monitoring. I’m sure your Dr. Is monitoring your PSA values as well and it’s always good to be vigilant. Feel free to keep posting and learning and ask any questions you may have. Terry

Thanks for the replies and reassurances.
That's how I interpreted the test results and I do like the fact that he didn't hit any Blueberries. I like the analogy.
