As ASA said, those comments about
secondary cancers are likely outdated. Don't get radiation advice from a surgeon and don't get surgical advice from a radiation oncologist. You seem to be doing all the right things including extra view of your slides and contacting multiple practitioners. Here is a video that I think may be helpful as well:
