Thanks for the replies guys!
No, my Doctor never told me to "pull down the pump several times".
But judging from his lack of any bedside manner that's not surprising!
At the 6 week mark he was at a loss where the device was?
He felt around, found the tubes and tried to pull it down, but after 15 minutes I told him I had enough.
He said "he moved a little", but I could not feel any difference.
Then said to come back in two weeks and he would try to move it again.
So, at the two week mark I came back with the same result!
He said our only option was to surgically relocate it and "form a pocket of skin" in my scrotum to hold it in place?
SOOOO, 2 weeks later on May 27, I showed up at his office and he did the procedure using Local Anesthetic, which I admit was painless, and discharged me! Never saw or heard from the Doctor again.
The first procedure was at the Medical Facility at the Hospital! The last at his office facilities at the local clinic.
He never addressed the fact that he had punctured the resevoir for the device and removed it?
He wasn't even the room when the nurse wheeled me out to my waiting ride home.
So one week later, no call or contact from the Drs. Office, nothing!
I found out about
the snafu while reviewing his notes on the confidential patient chart online!
BTW, Medicare and Blue Cross was charged $65,000 for this fiasco.
Thanks for letting me vent.
I'll let you know if anything good happens for me in the future.
