So sorry, Stephanie and family. His strength and perseverance are something we can all take to heart with our own struggles. Your strength and courage and acceptance are an inspiration to my wife and I, and everyone who’s followed Jeff’s journey. May God bless you and your family.

I've followed your story here. I'm so sorry for your loss of Jeff. You have done all and more that a partner can do. We would all be lucky to have someone like you when our time comes.

Steph and Family,
Full of truly dedicated love, what a strong, brave wife you are. You were there for him, did everything you could, you were his guardian angel and comforter here on earth. I believe he is now has the Master Comforter, no more pain there in heaven, hope you share that thought. He passed with dignity and knowledge of the love of his family.

Thanks you for journaling His and Your story, I may need to draw strength from this one day soon.

I like your heading, in which you focus on Jeff's "beautiful life." You and Jeff went through a lot of pain and difficulty. I hope you are able to remember the best times and not let the sadness of recent months obscure them.

My condolences to you and your family. He made a courageous effort and you were(are) his champion every step of the way. None of us with this disease really know what is in store for us. All we know is that our end will all be the same. With any luck each of has someone as kind, gentle and courageous as you. May peace be with Jeff and with you.

Jeff was fortunate to have you as his partner and advocate especially during this last stage of his illness. I am so very sorry for your great loss--but I am also tremendously grateful that you were able to chronicle the journey. Sending my deepest condolences to you and your family.

I'm so sorry Stephanie. Thank God for angels like you and family to take such good care of Jeff. I have an angel that will be there for me. I hate that she will have to do this, but someday my turn will come. May God grant you peace.
