One of the most egregious lies ever perpetrated on the cultural consciousness is that people get "too old" to do their thing well, even when they've been doing their thing QUITE well for decades.
This past Saturday, Mick and the Rolling Stones at Hyde Park and Paul McCartney at Glastonbury gave 'em a show, and showed they've still got it.
Their ages? Mick, 78, Paul, 80.
To quote a well-known opinion from an authority on the age matter, Satchel Paige, "Age is a case of mind over matter. If you don't mind, it don't matter."
Hear, Hear!
