10/29/18 my PSA was 7.8

11/19/18 did 3 month Lupron shot

1/23/19-- started 10 days SBRT (finished 2/5/19)
(This was after PSMA scan identifying 1-2 hot nodes -- the 10 days was to radiate some nearby nodes too)

Here are my subsequent PSAs:

06/21/22 1.07 (T = 160.2)
04/28/22 1.48
1/27/2022 0.87 (T=109.2)
8/27/2021 0.47
4/27/2021 0.37
11/27/2020 0.4
6/23/2020 0.38 (T = 206.6)
1/27/2020 0.47
11/15/2019 0.75
8/14/2019 0.59
5/14/2019 0.21 (but T very low at 6.37--still impacted by HT I guess)

Most recent 2 #s are very similar to your. Mine took almost 3 years, not 18 mos. But my SBRT was 10 days.

Hey Mel,

I'll probably have my next PSA in a couple of weeks and of course hoping that the last drop is a trend. I'm really glad that I checked back in on the forum as well as talked to some other docs around the country as I had no clue about a radiation bounce. It appears that I'm one of the few patients to have a biopsy after radiation but it was instructive. That you can have a substantial portion of a core showing cancer that is 'still' in the process of dying a couple years later took some processing to figure out. My URO wanted me to pick a therapy, either salvage RP or cryotherapy and not wait.
