Just dropping in to share my 10-year update - continue to be "undetectable" (see signature) and no SE's. Thanks again to all of the brothers (and sisters) out here who took care of me when I first joined - scared, mad, unknowing...... but between the shared experiences and help I was able to right myself, and dig in with a due diligence that clearly bordered on obsession. All of which was so very worth it - so thanks again to those folks that are still here from my starting journey - and also a message of hope to the new guys - PCA can be beat, and without sacrificing quality of life.......

Wow! It's hard to believe all that was 10 years ago! You were very thorough in investigating the various options, and I'm glad to hear you continue to do well. One of these days we should get together for coffee or something. Warm greetings from this side of the state line. Coincidentally, it was July 9th, 2010, when I learned the results of my biopsy, and Dr. Khan walked into the room and said, "Well, Bill, we have some things to talk about."

Congrats on 10 years Yoop! (Heck, a lot of organized religions here in California don't last 10 years.) Hope to be following in your footsteps soon.

Those are VERY low PSA numbers considering you had radiation therapy.

A Yooper: You took a personal interest in my case as did others on this forum. For that, I am forever grateful. If I get an undetectable next Friday it will be 8 years out with LDR Brachy Thearapy which I still think is the best thing going. Hope you still get a chance to fish for those Brookies up north.

Hello, Yooper! Glad to hear from you again and SO GLAD that you continue to do well. You made a great choice and the results speak for themselves. I'm now almost 14 years out -- with the same results.

Hope you'll stop by more often. You have a great story and excellent insight to give to other members.
