1 year on ADT and PSA .1 but Testosterone has gone up from 11 to 14 . Still good but is it a sign to be leery of? Trying to get into Stanford soon. VA has suggested 2 nd line ADT after old leg bone infection is controlled(50 years of osteomylitis is nor fun). Still shaking Boss.

I seem to recall you're on Lupron for ADT. Some people respond better to it than others do. There are other ADT drugs available that could be considered, if your doctors think the T needs to be kept lower than it is. For some, the T could begin rising near the end of the effective period for your Lupron shot (in the 4th month of a 4 month shot, for example). I never had any trouble with that, since my T took a few months to recover after ADT ended.

It's still well controlled, but it's good to keep an eye on it. Here's hoping!

I don't think you need to be concerned at all about this slight 'uptick' in testosterone.
As long as the serum testosterone level is <50 ng/dL, one can assume that the androgen deprivation ('hormone') therapy is effective. Moreover, serum testosterone levels vary during the day etc.

I'd agree with Sailor 100% on this one. The "Saturation Theory" of how PCa reacts to T supports the notion that "castrate" levels of 50 or less (for total T) are sufficient to affect PCa. I would bet that a move from 11 to 14 is more like "noise" in the test results. It is WELL below 50, after all.
