Vince- bbq brethren has them all the time. The other hot topic is using a binder before you put a rub on the meat. I used to travel around doing BBQ competitions(hence the name).

Got it. I’m a long time vegetarian so I guess I’m out of that loop but I have heard of BBQ competitions.

Hi Larry,

Congrats on reaching the other side of surgery! It would be of help to yourself and others if you could create a signature file with your salient history and results. It is automatically appended to each of your posts and ut makes it much easier for others to offer more specific answer your questions.

Have a look at other signature to know what to include: basically your pre-op history and workup (PSAs, biopsy results, scans, etc. and your post-op path results when you get them, and then your post-op PSA history as your track it. Your post-op path results take the spotlight over any biopsy results, since the latter sample only minute amounts of prostate tissue whereas the former samples your entire prostate. Your post-op findings and PSA trend will determine if and when any further treatment is needed--hopefully not!

As Mumbo points out, keeping your post-op recovery posts in one thread is more logical. Everything will in one place, so no one has to hunt for earlier info. When anyone adds a post to a thread, that thread comes to the top of the home page and displays the "unread" flag to the left, so we'll know when you've added an update.
