And Happy Winter Solstice. Here in Montana it feels like a true winter: -15F air temperature and -30F with the windchill. And snowing.

January 2nd is always one of my favorite days. All the hoopla is over, the day lengths are increasing, and there is renewed hope for a good year.

I like the first week in January... All the holidays are over and I shop like crazy and can generally find a 10 to 15 pound spiral cut HAM for 50 Cents a Pound. I bet you can too.

I got back to my hometown, just as a three day winter weather event began ~ Artic air, snow, and wind chills below zero.

My family has celebrated Christmas Eve ~ on the same street ~ for 120 years ~ for 7 consecutive generations.

Looking outside, it's definitely going to be a "White Christmas" this year!

Western NY right now is a mess.
I will be glad to put 2022 behind us and move forward on our journey. Also, thanking everyone for the advice and support this past year.

What I am thankful this holiday season is this forum. A band of brothers and sisters who are here for one purpose only. To help all of us through a disease that can be both uplifting when results of test and treatments are good and devastating when they are not. My family, relatives and friends come first, but this forum is a very close second. I want to give a huge thank you and my best to all here during this holiday season.

Never feels like Christmas until I visit my grandnieces and grandnephews. Then like magic I get that warm feeling.
Never had children so I am grateful for my late brother who had three girls and they have a total of nine children.
One niece is adopted but feels like she is family.
Been a tough year and facing the big 70 this month the 13th but am grateful for family and this family too.
