I’d just like you all to know that your posts have an impact. I first joined this group in July of 2021 a month after prostrate removal. It was a scary time as you all know. I was 51 with a large family. Too young and too many dependents to not be scared.

I only posted a couple of times but I searched issues quite often. Trimix, for example. There is some very good advice on these pages about erectile dysfunction.

Recently the word priapism was frantically searched. After 4 hours head to the ER? Try 12 hours. And I wasn’t going to be in any hospital with an erect Willy. Embarrassment won that battle. That was a couple of months ago.

My experience with Trimix has had mixed results. Mainly because I’m still getting up to speed about how to use it. Again, thanks to you all, I’ve learned a lot. But that recent priapism event was followed by another a few days ago. And it was equally solid for over 10 hours. Embarrassment won again and I toughed through it. Very painful and lots of praying.

If I do go back to Trimix then I obviously need a much lesser dose. There was another dosing, in between those two events, that was just fine. I do still have feeling down there and I am hopeful to find a good process to perform regularly.

I guess I wanted to share this story and wondered if others have had similar experiences? Is there a bad mix of Trimix floating around? A recent pharmacy recommendation was to keep it in the freezer when not using it. Not the fridge. I wonder if, as it thaws, the more potent chemicals thaw out soonest?

I would like to sign off with all my stats, but I did not get that far to know how to set up the closing section of a post. I’ll share that my cancer was discovered in a blood PSA test. I have friends that still do not go to a doctor and they are in their 40’s and 50’s. Dangerous stuff! I’ll also share that my surgery was robotic and PSA is ZERO! Other than the limp Willy, I’m doing great. But the limp Willy is an issue unto itself, as I’m sure a lot of you are well aware. The other stats — type and scale of cancer — I knew those figures once but, frankly, I’ve successfully repressed that stuff! Previously against tattoos, I have a rather large one to keep me remembering. But I often find ignorance is more blissful when it comes to that year of being diagnosed and having it ripped out of me.

My brief Trimix odyssey got me the heck off it - pronto!

I have gone the route of a penile implant, and it has given me what I want without having to use "the old sausage" for target practice.

I recommend you consider a consultation with a Uro who SPECIALIZES in implant. If you are near NYC - Dr. Francois Eid. Near MD or VA - Dr. Kramer. I emphasize - pick a Urologist who SPECIALIZES in implants. There are varieties suited for different needs, etc.
