Finished my 45 rounds of rads and 6 months of Lupron end of 2016. So far ,so good . Taking one Tamsulosin a day and maintaining a flow. Its been quite awhile since I`ve checked in and wanted to wish the best to all of you fighting the battle . Seems like so long ago I was confronted with all the confusion and choices associated with this disease. Life moves on regardless...losing my wife last year and picking up the pieces from Hurricane Ian here on Pine Island Fl. keeps it all real . This site was such a help to me back in my treatment days ....Thank You all !!

Good to hear from you drifter, and you have been thru a lot in the last couple of years. And your positive attitude is infectious. Keep on truckin my friend.

Right there with you in taking one Tamsulosin a day. I've tried a couple of times to see if I could try working towards stopping this pill, but after one day my body tells me that I want to keep taking it. Glad to hear that on the prostate front, all well continues for you.

Yes, I too have tried to kick the tamsalosin ,but my stream cuts way back without it ....I also find that I must keep it on a strict daily time taking it which for me works well about 1 pm. If I get off schedule for a day or so , I know it .
