Count me in. 3+4 EPE but negative margins. Post surgery for 15 months and just got latest PSA back and is .04. (It was <.04, which i am still trying understand if its an emerging issue.
My EPE was a shocker as MRI and biopsy didn't pick it up. In fact the MRI said the tumor was contained in the capsule.
Looking fwd to the discussions with this targeted group!
Hello Rich,
As you discovered, MRI can’t see everything. The better test is a PET scan.
Basically you have some options.
A. Adjuvant radiation and ADT in 6 months(if your insurance will pay for it)
B. Just monitor PSA and early salvage radiation if you PSA returns and is increasing.
C. Just monitor PSA, if returns and is increasing wait for a high enough value for the cancer to show up on a PET scan and then treat it.
I chose A, better technology today, I would chose C.
