There's newer school buildings at my school district, but I'm in the oldest building ~ which lacks urinals in the staff restrooms ... sigh ...

Grrr! It's the little things! Just sayin'!

Yeah.
Since the RP I have to stand to empty. Valve issues, multiple streams and splatter are now part of my lifestyle. Getting up in the wee hours (catch that?) is also part of my post-RP reality.The upstairs bath is primarily mine, downstairs primarily hers. We both clean as necessary, no complaining.

I spend quite enough time sitting on the toilet already, due to my RT roasted intestines & colon.

I seem to remember that a weak man in Germany was called a "Sitzpinkler" but now they all do it?

I actually hang by my feet. Like a bat. Inversion boots. Good ab workout to boot. 😀

At home, I sit. I hate washing walls and floors.

At public restrooms, I can use the urinals (bigger target, in case of spray).

I proudly stand to pee. I do this not just because I am a manly man but also because I am sufficiently incontinent that by the time I have turned around to sit I will have dripped all over the floor.

VinceInMT: European toilets work differently than American toilets. European "wash away" toilets just wash stuff down the drain and don't bother refilling the bowl. American "syphon jet" toilets are more complicated. Syphon jets are easier to clean but prone to clogging.

Point to ponder ...

Urinals are commonplace in public restrooms, but I don't know of any in home restrooms ...

They are out there. I look at lots of homes for sale online and I occasionally come across one with a urinal. Bidets are another uncommon fixture but they are out there.

I figured that if I was ever building a custom shop for my hobbies, I'd have a urinal mounted on the wall next to the big red tool box.

Not to take this thread off on a tangent, but now that we are talking about urinals, a funny (to me) story comes to mind.

Many years ago I worked in the Finance department of a large company. The VP-Finance was short of stature, maybe just over 5 feet tall. He was not a nice man, one who kind of redefined the meaning of the phrase "A** Hole."

One day we decided to install a fake urinal in the men's restroom, mounted very low on the wall. We then put a child's step stool in front of it and placed a sign on the wall above the urinal, stating that it was "For Bob's Use Only." That was just the beginning of our torment for that man.
