Thank you
Well the pain doctor is okay but he has a tough job with the Workers comp approval process.
They make it very hard to get the prescription paid for. " urine drug screen proof" and proof that the medication is working and " patient opioid medication contract" Every month they ask for this mind you the doctor's office has to pay for the drug screen.
With my pain conditions I rely on buprenorphine which while different then other opioid medications, is still a controlled substance. When Workers comp denies it, I pay out of pocket which is bad enough but some pharmacies will refuse self pay!
As far as the upcoming surgery and their lack of any sedative then the one I am allergic to, all I can do is call Friday to talk to whoever is assigned my case on Monday. If they still screw it up I will insist on talking to a supervisor and my ortho.
