Cialis Shortage?

I called to refill my prescription for Tadalafil, generic Cialis, and the pharmacy told me that they would put me on a waiting list. They’ve been trying to get it for three weeks and have not been successful. Has anyone else had this issue?
I googled Cialis shortage and did show that there was a short, but it was resolved in the middle of June, obviously not the case here in NYC.

Hi PM. I was getting my sildenafil online, but switched to tadalafil recently. I got my first Rx filled at my uro's practice (slightly higher prices), but will likely use this other mail-order pharmacy, which seems to have low prices (note that they vary if you check/uncheck the auto-refill option.) Shipping is free. You can call them to check on availability. I'd be curious to know if your local prices are comparable.

I was happy with the previous online pharmacy I was using for sildenafil, but their tadalafil prices are higher than those at the place I linked. As I mentioned, I haven't used them yet, but they appear to be reputable.

Did you know how tadalafil got its name? The guy with ED who first tried it looked down and saw, with amazement, a firm erection. He pointed to it and said "Ta da!"

Djin, I use GoodRX and pay $13.00 for 90 day supply, 5 mg.
I actually just called another pharmacy in the area and they have it in stock, so maybe it was just that one pharmacy, very strange. I messaged my Dr to put in a new scrip with the new pharmacy.

Haven’t noticed any shortages when taking Cialis. Quite the opposite. Flushed face maybe, higher blood pressure.
I do think however, that we are getting the shaft for this high priced drug.

The Hard fact is that we are getting the shaft buying these medications.
Actually I've been on five milligrams for a Long time and don't feel Shorted.
Seriously, I have not had any issues getting my supply. I take it because it helps with urine flow.

As long as we're comparing...I decided to try Tadalafil earlier this year after hearing Frank Thomas and Doug Flutie tell me I needed a "boost in the bedroom". At age 77 I figured what the heck. My doc told me that he uses 20mg tablets and they are good for a 3-4 day ability to perform at a high level. So I dove right in for 90 pills at $38 (42 cents per pill). My doc optimistically gave me a script with 3 refills (!).

Turns out the doc was right...at least about the ability...I don't yet know how many refills I'll need. 20mg is a pretty solid dose...I get a little stuffiness, a little flushing and an occasional cough. Clearly worth it for the results....and there are no shortages involved.

OK, you guys took my unintended pun, and ran with it LOL. Good on ya all.
I finally did get my scrip filled today at a local pharmacy.

Re Tud, 20 mg dose, my RO NP told me that I can take up to 20 mg when the "occasion arrises" (baiting you all for another round of jokes), that's the maximum dose you should take in one day. I've never done 20, I've done 15, and it's "helpful".
I've never had any side effects whatsoever. In fact, my understanding is that it is helpful in lowering blood pressure, not raising it.

So the original pharmacy that was out of stock, called (automated) and said my prescription is ready. Now I have two fills, 6 month supply. One from the original pharmacy, and one from the local one that I found with Cialis in stock,
So I 've got a 6 month supply. Or I can double up on my dose just for fun. Anybody would get a rise out of that. (see what I did there?)
