So I have BPH and my uro suggested trying 5mg of Cialis
I’ve seen a few articles saying this could cause serious eye problems and even blindness in some people .
I have glaucoma that is under control .
My Dr seemed to blow off this concern .
Any of you guys here use that drug and have glaucoma ?
Not even sure this will help my “ stream”

i taken cialis daily to aid with erections for 13 years or so. i didn't know it could help me pee better, and i have no problems with my eyes

Same as F8, no eye problems, never heard about it in my reading, and AFAIK it doesn't shrink the prostate. I've been on it daily since surgery in 2015

I have normal-tension glaucoma in one eye for which I use a nighttime drop. I also use Cialis from time to time. This is the first time I've heard anything about adverse reactions. Are you sure you mean Cialis and not Flomax (tamulosin)? I know tamulosin often causes "floppy iris" (IFIS) which can make cataract surgery a bit more difficult (my surgeon noted it during my eye surgery).

It’s out there, see below. I don’t take them but seems worth investigating before you start.
More likely and may cause,? Seems questionable.

“A recent study just published in Jama Opthamology found that men who regularly took phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors were 85% more likely to have suffered at least one of the following three major eye problems: serous retinal detachment (SRD), retinal vascular occlusion (RVO), and ischemic optic neuropathy (ION).

And this, Researchers say men who regularly use erectile dysfunction drugs may have an increased risk of eye damage, including retinal detachment

I guess it’s the only dual drug that helps with BPH and erection issues.
I put in a call to my opto Dr but I’m sure he’s going to still tell me the same thing and that it’s ok
I’m only taking 5mg , I do have POAG glaucoma but don’t think I have any optic nerve issues … I hope not anyway
The research seems mixed at best

I'll admit that I chuckled at first, recalling the warnings against ********** would 'make you go blind'......cialis can lead to more **********, after all. smile

I have taken Cialis for a few yerars now and it has not caused and issues with my eyes, nor my erections, it was negative for both! I has cataract surgery recently and have glaucoma under control for years. Both my eye doctor and urologist have no problems with the issue you mentioned.

Yes my Drs told me the same but in my reading and research I see studies that caution use
When u say it had negative effect do you mean it didn’t help you ?
