Hello, SteveO ~
Cards on the table, for my case, diagnosed in my 40s with prostate cancer that had already infiltrated both lungs, I have worked very hard to maintain my health goals.
It's 10 years since diagnosis now. I hope that inspires a new reader here.
That being said, Dr. Kwon at Mayo Clinic ~ a couple of years ago ~ discussed the possibility of stepping back from ADT.
It wasn't a possibility I was prepared for and I have worked so hard to get this far.
I then stated that I was VERY reluctant to step back from my current treatments or medications.
Nothing more has been said since. I see my local oncologist monthly, and he has never broached the subject, and I feel that I wish to stay on this current course.
My thoughts to share ~
