Pluvicto -PSA continued to drop

Pluvicto was completed in August with a PSA reading of 13.9 six weeks later (originally 194 last December). Lab work this week, PSA dropped to 10. Scans showed some hot spots remained in ribs and spine, but diminished from one year ago. The MO said DH "kicked the can down the road". MO also said his patients were having about 50/50 response. We consider ours a success story.

I also wanted to say that PLUVICTO is a potentially powerful and impactful new weapon in the fight, for our battle brothers and compadres here.

Even better- as more clinical trials are conducted - it may become used in new ways that enhance its effectiveness, or combined with other treatments, for an even greater synergistic effect.

Very thankful to read these updates on PLUVICTO!

Has your MO said anything about how to 'attack' the remaining cancer?
Is DH still on any other drugs?

Thanks guys. We've received so much encouragement from people on this site, that we like to share some, too.

Sr Sailor,
DH is on Lupron for life, but no other meds for now. He is mildly anemic and has low platelets, so he's still recovering from the Pluvicto. MO usually has something up his sleeve, but we're not sure what's next. He'll see him again in about 3 months.

DYank: Great news on Pluvicto! I, too have had great success with this. In fact, as many of you know from previous posts of mine, I'm now on my second round of LU-177 / Pluvicto. First round of LU-177 (six treatments), PSA went from 65 to 0.65. This time, with Pluvicto, I've (SO FAR) gone from 300 down to 8.8 and still have one final infusion in a couple weeks. So, all told, I've had 11 treatments of LU-177 / Pluvicto. Keep the faith, brothers!

It was 14 months from #6 to #7. It took a few months to get Medicare activated before I could start the second wave. My work insurance said no to pluvicto which had just been FDA approved so I dropped them and activated Medicare.
No treatment in between except Lupron and xgeva shots. During that time between 6 an 7 PSA went from 0.65 to around 300. Now back down to 8.8. Best of luck. Steve
