Irritated bladder??

Well, it has been over 7 years since IMRT and it looks like I might be getting a case of irritated bladder.

My symptoms only occur at night, usually 4 to 6 hours after falling asleep. The problem never occurs during the day. It feels like I have a full bladder even though I don't. Sometimes it feels like a little cramping of the bladder. There isn't any urgency, and I never had any problems with incontinence. Getting up and urinating does alleviate the problem, and unfortunately leaving me wide awake.

Has anybody else experienced this after RT?

on a typical night i get up 2-3 times to pee. on a bad night 4-5 times

I rarely have to get up unless I drink a lot of liquid prior to bed time.

Hey Nick.... I can relate to what you wrote and seem to experience similar things...

My theory: I'm 5'11" and weigh 225lbs... In short, I have much more belly fat then I need. I have often wondered if the fat is causing undo pressure on the bladder???

I would look into other reasons for your bladder issue.
