In I have been blessed (cursed) with 100 percent incontinence.
Well, that sucks.
A friend of mine caught anaplasmosis from a tick, was in a wheelchair for a couple of months, walks with a cane now, and has been incontinent and continually catheterized for six months. He says the catheter is worse than the (need for) the cane. Watch out for ticks.
Not a lot of people know that COL Joshua Chamberlain of civil war fame was rendered incontinent in a war injury, and was that way for the rest of his life, another 50 years or so. The tech back then was pretty primitive. Fascinating story.
