Hi Beachbum. You've gained knowledge. A result of <0.01 means that your PSA could be anything below that--even as high as 0.099. Your latest result means your PSA might even be more than 10 times lower.
However, I think you may have mistyped and your previous results were, instead, <0.1 Decimal number below 1 should always be written with a zero in front of the decimal point. The reason is that if you omit this zero, others have no way of knowing whether you (1) forgot the zero but got the decimal part correct or (2) you remember the zero but misplaced the decimal point.
I say this because a result of <0.01 would mean the test was an ultrasensitive one.
Since your cancer was evidently prostate-confined, but your cancer burden was whopping 65%, I'd be curious to know what your last PSA reading before your surgery was.
