Updated post below!
Hello everyone!
I haven't posted in awhile but here I am again with an update. My husband's PSA started creeping up on 01/2020 from 0.03, to now on 2/26/2024 PSA 3.97. Doubling time lately has been on average, about
5-6 months.
He had a PET scan in early Feb, which showed a right lower abdominal peritoneal nodule, size was about
15mm x 15mm. Had it biopsied end of Feb, and came back positive for metastatic adenocarcinoma with prostate origin.
He now has a bunch of apts/consultations lined up with urologist, oncologist, radiologist, and NIH.
Right now, we're getting our 'ducks in a row' to see what treatment options are available for him prior to these appointments. Thoughts, opinions, suggestions, and any questions that should be asked prior to these appointments are welcomed as we navigate through this process.
Also, anyone's past experience with your treatment in dealing with mets would be helpful too.
Thank you so much!
