Side benefit of Tadalafil?

Like most men who’ve had their prostate removed, I am on a daily maintenance dosage of Tadalafil. I have seen recent headlines that this regimen (for Viagra and Cialis) might reduce the odds of developing Alzheimer’s in the future. While doing an internet search, I found conflicting information, with the positive articles being recent and the negative articles being a couple years old. It will be interesting to see what develops in the future. Anecdotally, one of my uncles (in a long line of Alzheimer victims) had his prostate removed 30 years ago and has taken daily Tadalafil since, and he’s sharp as a tack at 90 years old.

Interesting. I had not heard of that side benefit.
I have read somewhere, don't recall, that Tadalifil is helpful in controlling blood pressure

We all know Tadalafil (Cialis) as an ED drug, but it's initial development and first use was for pulmonary hypertension. The ED benefit was originally noted as a side effect.

I only take it "as needed". This will give me an incentive to need it more...

Okay Guys, [Nothard Here], I have not posted on the forum for over 14 years, having my prostate removed 16 years ago. Not even sure if I’m posting in the right place, as the web site seems to have changed a lot. I have luckily stayed cancer free [undetectable] , now for 16 years, so there is hope guys out there, hoping this will inspire some. I had Gleason 4+3=7, PSA 4. I wanting some help please, we used to order ED meds, from a chemist which was reputable and recommended by guys on here. Just looking please for a link or name of that chemist. Time to order some meds, having a few ED issues atm. [age 66yrs] TIA

Welcome back. It's good to hear from you again.
I think you have asked the wrong question. Most ED drugs have been off patent in Australia for years now and it would be weird if the pharmacy that guys used ten years ago was still the best place to get them.
Having told you that you asked the wrong question I should now admit that I don't know the exact answer for the question you should have asked. If you lived in the US I could tell you the exact secret handshake you need to find the best prices* but I don't know the ins and outs of comparison shopping for drugs down under.
But I do know that there are legit online pharmacies in Oz that sell generic ED drugs at a fraction of the price for the brand names. Be sure to specify the generic name of the drug you are after - ie. Tafalafil not Cialis or sildenafil not Viagra.
